If you are looking for a transformational retreat that will help to bring you back to balance while soaking in the tranquil beauty of the Bahamas, look no further than our 4-day Yoga, Meditation & Healing retreat. We are blending yoga and meditation with inspirational workshops in order to reset your mind, body, and spirit so you can bring a sense of calm and stability back to your day-to-day world.

Our retreat is set amidst the backdrop of beautiful New Providence within the islands of the Bahamas, only a short 30-minute flight from Florida.
 

The retreat venue is at a stunning, luxury villa, within walking distance to a gorgeous beach and restaurants.

ABOUT THIS RETREAT

These past two years have taken a toll on all of us, both physically and mentally. Many of us are feeling the need to reconnect with ourselves and do some deep healing work. During this retreat, you’ll be able to take the time to slow down and tap into your own innate ability to heal.

*This retreat is open to all levels of Yogis and is accredited through Yoga Alliance for 10 Continuing Education Credit Hours (CEUs).

  • Balancing the energy body (chakra system and signs of imbalances)

  • Yoga poses and health benefits

  • Beginner’s guide to healing

  • Energy healing - what is it, and how does it work

  • Communing with nature, healing with plants – shamanism, herbalism, and plant medicine

  • What’s the point of yoga? Why do we practice? Learn the traditional aspects of yoga.

ACCOMMODATION

We will be staying at a private 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom luxury property, fully gated and secure. It is just a 5-minute drive from the airport and directly across the street from the beach, with stunning ocean views. There are 2 grocery stores less than 3 miles away and 4-5 restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk west of the property.

This is a full 3/4 acre hilltop property at the highest elevation on the island. 180-degree ocean view with sweeping panoramas to the east, south and west. Mature landscape with abundant flowering trees and shrubs as well as Avocado, Bananas, Persian Lime, and Pomegranate when in season.

 

FOOD (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

The food will be catered by Chives Cafe. Chives offers an amazing array of healthy dishes utilizing locally grown, organic produce. Special dietary concerns can be accommodated. Included in the retreat price are daily breakfast and dinner.

Wednesday:

Arrive in Nassau at your leisure (Check-in at house no earlier than 3:00 PM)

5:30-6:30- Welcome Circle (introductions, intention setting, expectations, scheduling of energy healing sessions)

6:30-Dinner at house

 

Thursday:
8:00-9:15 - Vinyasa Yoga practice
9:15 - 10:15 - Breakfast/Break
10:15 - 11:15-Workshop 
11:15 – 2:30 -Break (pool, beach, relaxation, scheduled spa appts)
2:30 - 4:00-Workshop 
4:00-5:00- Gentle yoga, breath-work, and guided meditation
5:00-6:00-Break

6:00-Dinner
 

Friday:

Getting to Nassau is easy. Arrive into Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) from many destinations including Miami, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Dallas.

DANIELLE MERCER-MOREE is a passionate Yoga Teacher & Yoga Teacher Trainer who travels around the world sharing her passion for cultivating mindfulness through yoga & meditation. She highly emphasizes and embraces the importance of being able to express our innate individuality and teaches her students tools on the mat that they can use to better deal with life. She has spent several years studying, practicing, and teaching different lineages of yoga and has dedicated her life to sharing her insightful curriculums with as many students as possible. Danielle believes yoga to be a life-changing practice and feels it to be the missing link in several of our lives.

 

Danielle is an E-RYT-500 in Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and Yin. These are certifications that she acquired in the U.S., India, Canada, and Australia. She is also certified as a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) and Registered Yoga School (RYS-200) through Yoga Alliance. She has taught and practiced different styles of yoga worldwide for the last 7 years.

MARIAH MOYLE is a yoga teacher and shamanic energy medicine practitioner. She is certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin styles of yoga. For Mariah, yoga is a tool to work on clearing stuck energy, healing stored emotions, and finding a calm mind. She works with postures to tap into the “higher mind” where we can access our infinite, non-dual self. Tapping into that calm and ever-present self during our yoga practice assists us in facing the challenges in our real world with strength and stability.

Mariah is an energy medicine practitioner and studied with the Q’ero Incan shamans of Peru. She learned techniques to help clients release stored imprints in the energy field. Imprints may be in the form of long-held emotions, trauma, or disease. This process brings about healing at the energetic level which trickles upward to release negative emotions and behaviors, and can implement physical healing.
